Follow these steps to reset the password to UM Campus Systems
Important!!! You must have logged in at least once in order for the below steps to work. If you have never logged in and need help with a password, please submit a helpdesk
- Open a Browser (Google, Safari, Microsoft Edge)
- Go to Microsoft Online Password Reset
- Enter your email and complete the captcha
- Choose "I forgot my password"
- Choose the verification method that was set up on the initial log in
- Enter a new password using the following criteria:
- At least 8 characters
- At least 1 uppercase letter
- At least 1 number
- At least 1 special character (!@#$%)
It cannot contain:
- Your name
- Your birthday
- A simple word

**It could take up to 30 minutes for the password to synchronize across all systems. However access to Office 365 systems, such as emails and self-service, should work instantly.**
Passwords are set to expire every 90 days and must be updated in order to continue using the campus systems.
Any issues resetting a password should be reported to Helpdesk.
